HDFC MF declares dividend under 2 schemes

HDFC Mutual Fund has declared a dividend of 60% (Rs. 6 per unit on Face Value of Rs.10) under the dividend option of HDFC Tax Saver Fund and a dividend of 22.50% (Rs. 2.25 per unit on Face Value of Rs.10) under the dividend options of HDFC Balanced Fund. The record date for dividend has been fixed as March 3, 2011.

All investors registered under the dividend option of above schemes as on March 3, 2011 will receive this dividend. The NAVs of the scheme under the dividend option as on February 25, 2011 was Rs 61.12 and Rs 20.35 respectively.

HDFC Tax Saver Fund is an open ended equity linked savings scheme with a lock-in period of 3 years. The objective of the scheme is to achieve long term growth of capital.

HDFC Balanced Fund is an open-ended balanced scheme with the objective to generate capital appreciation along with current income from a combined portfolio of equity and equity related instruments and debt & money market instruments.
