IDFC Mutual Fund re-opens IDFC Premier Equity Fund for subscription

IDFC Mutual Fund has announced that units of IDFC Premier Equity Fund shall be available for subscription with effect from 31st March 2011. Being an open ended fund, units would be available at the applicable NAV. The scheme would be open to investors for subscription during the period when the fund manager feels that the stocks are reasonably valued. The subscription under the fund will be closed, once the scheme reaches a predetermined manageable corpus. This would be based on the decision of the fund manager. Since 27th February 2010, IDFC Premier Equity Fund had not accepted further subscriptions other than through SIP/STP. The fund objective is to generate long-term capital growth from an actively managed portfolio of predominantly equity and equity related instruments.
